Shipping Across the Continent
NO problem! We ship to wherever you are and for less than you might
think. We have negotiated super low rates with most freight companies.
Please read shipping methods and shipping policies below.
- STANDARD SHIPPING DETAILS
This is a Standard Freight-Line shipment with curbside delivery - without a lift
gate. This means that once the machine has arrived at the local freight terminal
the customer will be contacted by the freight company to set up an appointment
for the delivery. On average, shipping times are about 2-4 business days.
Weather and other uncontrollable circumstances can cause delay. Once we
have confirmation that this unit has shipped, we will forward the tracking
information so you can proactively schedule a delivery time.
- LIFTGATE SHIPMENT DETAILS
This is a Standard Freight-Line shipment with curbside delivery, with a lift
gate. This means that once the machine has arrived at the local freight terminal
the customer will be contacted by the freight company to set up an appointment
for the delivery. On average, shipping times are about 2-4 business days. The
driver is required to get the machine under cover as long as there are no stairs
to negotiate. Once we have confirmation that this unit has shipped, we will
forward the tracking information so you can proactively schedule a delivery
time.
- Home Delivery
The driver will deliver to your front door or garage. This method is the most
expensive way to ship.
- To Freight Terminal Near You
The merchandise will be shipped to the nearest freight
terminal and held there for pick up. The most economical way to ship.
- To A Business With Loading Dock Or Fork
Lift
This method of shipping of your pellet stove
products is also the most economical way to ship - like the freight
terminal method.
- OBVIOUS SHIPPING DAMAGE
At the time of delivery if you receive a product that has obvious shipping
damage, make sure that you let the driver know and mark the damage on the
waybill before you sign it. If you sign the documents without any notes of
damage, the freight company will be clear an dyou will have no recourse.
- CONCEALED DAMAGE
Occasionally products are damaged in shipment that is not noticed at the
time of delivery. You should immediately inspect the product for
shipping damage and contact us within 36 hours of delivery
to report the damage. If you do not contact us within the 36 hour
time-frame, you will be responsible for filing a claim with the shipping
company, and The PelletStoveStore, will not be held liable for any damage to
the unit.
